I have been a fan of Benjamin's cooking since he arrived in Bargemon! I usually have the same starter -- his 'nems' are the best on Planet Earth -- but this time, following a freind's advice, I had his 'escargots'. They were frankly better than any I've had in Paris. As for the main course, the duck was on not on his (now reduced )menu the other night, so I had the veal chop -- and what made that dish a standout were his 'frites' -- done the proper, Belgian way: fried twice. Best I've had in decades. And the service is just perfect, too. A few days later, I ordered for pick up his 'vegetarian pizza' for friends -- it was outstanding, too.
