What a wonderful dinner. We had a late meal so when we arrived there was only one other family dining so we were a bit skeptical at first. But Guy quickly introduced himself to us and was very charming and warm. He walked us through the menu and possible wine pairings and eventually we chose the cod special and the duck. Guy was very attentive and was great conversation throughout the meal. He worked in Chicago fora time so was interested in the US and helped us along with our very limited French. We learned quite a bit about French cuisine and as he entertained us with his stories and anecdotes. Desserts were wonderful as well. Being a neighborhood cafe and a bit off the beaten path, it’s not right for you if you’re in a rush, but if you are looking some great French meals infused with a hint of asian flavors with a welcoming smile this really hits the spot. Definitely will return on our next trip to Paris.
